Joseph Flint Agnes Wallace had a son baptized called John. Witness Alexr Pottas John Flint.

• He had a residence in Fivestanks, West Lothian. According to monumental inscription of his son John Flint (1755-1833), buried in St Nicholas graveyard, Uphall, West Lothian:

"Also of John Flint, at one time Tenant in Fivestanks afterwards in Newyearfield and Janet Graham his wife"

• He had a residence in Newyearfield, Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. According to monumental inscription of his son John Flint (1755-1833), buried in St Nicholas graveyard, Uphall, West Lothian:

"Also of John Flint, at one time Tenant in Fivestanks afterwards in Newyearfield and Janet Graham his wife"

• Monumental Inscription: St Nicholas Churchyard, Uphall, West Lothian, Scotland. In memory of John Flint, Feuar, Broxburn Who died September 1883 aged 70; of Margaret Davidson his spouse who died March 1884, aged 78 and of their daughter Margaret who died May 1882(32?) aged 45

Robin, m. Adams who died 6th February 1863 aged 74 buried in Abercorn Agnes m. Fairley who died 18th April
1871 aged 80 buried in Abercorn Mary m. Somerville who died 8th December 1878 aged 85 buried in Currie
And of their only son John Flint who died 21 May 1868(3?)
Aged 81 buried in Currie. Likewise of their daughters
Christina who died in infancy and Isabella aged 7 years
And their granddaughter Jessie Fairley, 9 months

• They had marriage banns published on 27 Dec 1745 in Uphall, West Lothian, Scotland. John Flint in this Parish and Janet Grahame in the Parish of East Calder gave up their names for Proclamation in order to Marriage and after Proclamation without objections were married Dec 27th after.
