• She was buried in Kirkliston Churchyard, Kirkliston, Linlithgowshire, Scotland. In memory of Alexander Hetherton, late merchant Kirkliston, who died August 1st 1823 aged 41 years, also Charlotte Joiner his wife who died June 20th 1831 aged 60 years. Also here lie interred his father and mother John Hetherton who died 15th May 1838 aged 85 years, Elisabeth Gilmor who died January 29th 1842 aged 90 years, Janet Farmer wife of John Hetherton who died 7th August 1881 aged 80 years, John Hetherton who died 19th November 1881 aged 93 years.

Charlotte married Alexander Hetherton, son of John Hetherton and Elisabeth Gilmer.
