• She appeared on the census in 1861 in Parish School House, Ratho, Midlothian, Scotland. Recorded (aged 80) as the widowed head of the household, no profession. She was apparently living on her own in a house with 1 windowed room.

• She had a residence in 1864 in Saltcoats, Dirleton, Haddington, Scotland.

• She was ill with senile decay in 1864.
